World Dance Studio "Alegria" 20th anniversary concert "Four Lives" will take place on 25 April at 19.00 in the Latvian National Library Ziedoņa Hall. Four different world dances will be presented during the concert – first starting with the bellydance, embracing the Middle East folk dance, classical and the modern bellydance. It will be followed by a Flamenco suite, taking the spectator through the Flamenco dances of happiness and sorrow in group and solo performances from the traditional Sevillanas to Bulerias. Bharata Natham, the classical Indian dance style, mixed with Bollywood dance will open the second part of the concert, telling the story of the Indian mythology, the role of God in people's lives and within the order of the Universe. Finally, Gypsy (Roma) dances will conclude the night, offering an insight in the variety of the rhythm and accessories of the Roma dance.
Performed by some of the best Latvian solo dancers of the Flamenco, Indian Classical, Gypsy and Belly dances, such as Ilze Bērziņa, Vita Eglīte, Aleksejs Furdaks, Zane Oliņa, Larisa Podskočaja, Ilze Zariņa and their best students. Hosted by Ilze Zariņa, director of the World Dance Studio "Alegria".
